The Minority-Serving Institution Student Council (MSISC) has partnered with The Intersection to host the MSISC Meet & Greet this fall in honor of Welcome Week. The event is for students, faculty, and staff who are interested in learning more about the MSISC members, their initiatives, and ways to get involved.

The event will take place on Friday September 2nd from 12pm to 1:30pm at The Intersection (Student Union room 121). Free Crumbl Cookie and MSISC merchandise will be provided.

MSISC AUGUST RETREAT 2022

The Minority-Serving Institution Student Council (MSISC) hosted its second annual August Retreat on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. The retreat taught members about the history of Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs). The retreat also helped to encourage team-building with new MSISC members and fostered discussions with panelists and community partners. Dr. Renne’ Watson has officially moved on to her position as the new Student Affairs Vice President at Central Michigan University.
